What's happening in America today is more than just a clash of differing opinions. We are witnessing and participating in a war for the soul of our nation—a war that has its roots in the spiritual dimension. It is the most fundamental of all conflicts—the battle of good versus evil.
Goodness finds it's origin in the heart of God. Evil is the result of rebellion and separation from God. At birth, the human soul is separated from the Creator, but each one is gifted by the Creator with a conscience endowed with the precepts of goodness. Along with this gift is the free will to listen to and heed the promptings of the conscience. But, the human soul is torn and tempted by sin and rebellion making the choice of good over evil the most challenging and difficult of human endeavors.
The greatest divider among the souls who live in America can not be attributed to the differences that exist between political parties, the races, or the genders. It is the disparity that exists between those who choose good and those who choose evil.
A call is going out to all those who choose goodness—those who have chosen to follow in the footsteps of God's chosen Savior, Jesus Christ. Your sins have been forgiven and you now have the power to call upon your God in prayer. Let's all pray together with one voice for the preservation of the only nation to be founded under a banner that declares "E Pluribus Unum" which means "From many, one." From many different origins of race, nation and gender comes one people set apart for God and lifting up a new banner "In God We Trust."
